Desmon was founded by the De Santis family in 1994. Since 1998 it has built refrigeration under its own brand. Part of the Middleby Corporation since 2015.
1994: trading for the catering and medical sectors. 1998: takeover of a historic refrigeration brand and own production. Within a few years, a European reference in professional refrigeration.
2015: Middleby Corporation, one of the world's leading food service equipment groups. Production stays in Italy: two plants with roughly 25,000 m² of covered floor space — about 15,000 m² of assembly and 10,000 m² of sheet-metal fabrication.
The aim: durable units, good steel, reliable technology, sensible design. Every model with a tropical unit. Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, CE, ETL, UL, EAC, Energy Star.
